It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Grace was born on August 13, 1928, and passed away May 9, 2026.
She is survived by her son: Bruce (Trudy), grandchildren Ian (Cheryl), Shelby (Justin), Rebekah, (Steve); son Ron (Jacquie), grandchildren Danielle, Reese (Payton), Jesse; daughter Susan (Bruce), grandchildren Isaac, Lisa (Cameron); daughter Kathleen (Gene); plus, seven great-grandchildren.
Grace was predeceased by her husband Reg and her only brother Ronald.
Grace received her schooling at Wheatfield School, Shoal Lake and Brookdale. She had been residing at Victoria Landing, Brandon in the past year.
The family would like to thank the numerous staff members for their compassionate care and support at the Assiniboine Centre.
A Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Neepawa, Manitoba later that day.
Donations in memory of Grace may be made to Brookdale United Church, Box 14, Brookdale, Manitoba, R0K 0G0 or to a charity of choice.
